Innovations in Valve Technology and New Plant: ASF-Razvitie LLC Strengthens Its Position in Import Substitution

Representatives of ASF-Razvitie LLC took part in the technical meeting "Armature 2025. Production and operation of pipeline fittings and wellhead equipment. Best practices and new developments. Import substitution and reengineering" in Ufa, June 3-4, 2025.

A report was presented at the meeting: "The experience of ASF-Razvitie LLC in the manufacture and design of shut-off valves: from import substitution to innovative solutions" and they shared their 10 years of experience and successful projects for the leaders of the fuel and energy complex (Novatek, Gazprom, Sibur).

At the beginning of 2025, the company began assembling its own DN 150 PN 160 ball valves for aggressive environments (which have successfully passed the class "A" leakproofness tests according to GOST), and launched an import substitution strategy, the key element of which will be the construction of its own oil and gas equipment plant.

Gennady Moskaev, a leading engineer at ASF-Razvitie, presented engineering solutions in the field of pipeline valve modification, through cavitation suppression and turbulence minimization by optimizing the hydrodynamics and geometry of the working elements.

The report also showed in detail the modifications of the saddles (perforation with holes for clean media and lobe slots for polluted media), as well as the use of a package of throttling plates to make the flow laminar and reduce noise.
